All for one, one for all.
The Roane Alliance wanted to showcase its work—and its updated visual branding system—through a new digital experience. Designsensory was tasked with creating new individual websites for the Alliance and its partners, Roane ECD, Roane Tourism, Retire Roane and Education Matters.
With Roane Alliance as the umbrella under which they all work, we made sure the partners were front and center for users. We also wanted site visitors to see exactly who Roane Alliance is and what it does, adding a list of Alliance programs, a newly designed brochure available for download, a video and more. To distinguish the sites from each other, we included overlays with repeating logo patterns on the main hero images of each site.
The Economic Development site highlights area business advantages, quality of life and industry information, ensuring Roane a place in the minds of businesses considering locating to East Tennessee. Users can easily view both the Top 10 sites in Roane and the TVA sites that are for sale.
The new Tourism site highlights the vendors located in Roane County and the historic Manhattan Project National Park, including future museum plans. Other features include: a robust events system; integrated map; animated logos; blog; and the Retire Roane section of the site for those interested in lakefront living, recreation, communities and the many benefits of retiring in Roane.
Finally, we developed a website for a Roane coalition, Education Matters, which provides students with work-based learning, career and technical opportunities, co-ops and apprenticeships. Users can become an Education Matters partner, volunteer and/or donate.
