Recognizing the power of video content and leveraging Regal’s in-house talent, we developed the Prop Shop, a long-form episodic video series hosted by expert prop maker Jon Douglas—a Regal employee and movie superfan. Each episode brought iconic movie props to life, from design to assembly, while offering step-by-step instructions for fans to recreate the magic at home.
TikTok Launch
Through watch parties, influencer activations, and personalized concepts, we tapped influencer power to drive engagement and loyalty. Our TikToks showcased funny theater moments, exclusive offers, and trending movie culture, posting four times weekly with optimized hashtags and challenges. By blending organic content with influencer collaborations, we boosted engagement, established relevance, and built Regal’s next generation of loyal fans.
Regal Influencers
We partnered with creators, cosplayers, and influencers in fandom communities to host early screenings across seven key markets. This allowed them to craft unique experiences, expand their networks, and highlight their passions while strengthening studio-exhibitor relationships. Notably, the Mario Day activation with Universal featured simultaneous theater takeovers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Houston.
