Among the many beautiful sights at Osprey Point, there stands a monumental silo in the midst of the green fields that face Fort Loudoun Lake. Consequently, the name for Osprey Point came as inspiration from the actual osprey that nest atop the towering structure.
Using that as inspiration, we created three logo options for the FMP team to digest. The final, chosen identity mark is a vector silhouette of an osprey with its wings spread out on a diamond shape, a great symbolic nod to the soaring heights of the land and the progressive nature of its future owners.
Typographically, we chose a serif font to relay a sense of formality, yet the thicker nature of the type style is inviting.
Once we solidified the mark, we helped create a plan for the community’s entryway. The drawings showcased a stone enclosure, so we maintained a clean design that fights right over the stonework.
