Within a two-hour drive of more than two million people, McMinnville desires to become a premier tourism destination in Tennessee. They came to Designsensory with a request to better connect their small town to its neighboring big cities, Nashville and Chattanooga.
We partnered with influencers Natalie Allen and Tight Loops Fly to show their loyal followers that, whether it is a unique musical performance, a busy farmers market or a quiet place to hike, McMinnville has something to offer everyone. Natalie Allen is a travel writer and photographer and was accompanied by her fiancé. Tight Loops Fly (a.k.a. Chase and Aimee) is a husband and wife team of filmmakers and photographers.
While our teams of influencers documented their experiences in beautiful and thriving McMinnville, a lean production crew followed along to gather additional photo and video assets to be used later in press event promotions, contest activations and future campaign initiatives. Take a look at the finished products above.
Designsensory’s work with Natalie Allen and Tight Loops Fly kicked off and helped to promote our “Life in Full Bloom” contest in which two lucky couples—one from Nashville and another from Chattanooga—were awarded a weekend vacation filled with relaxing experiences and lively adventure.
Designsensory and the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce traveled to Nashville’s well-known Shakespeare in the Park presentation and the sold-out Moon River Music Festival in Chattanooga to create buzz about the “Life in Full Bloom” contest. Those who attended the events were offered a complimentary McMinnville mug filled with butterfly seed packets and more information about the weekend getaway, along with a variety of sweet treats from the Good Ol’ Sloppy Top food truck. With an overwhelmingly positive reaction, the swag was gathered up in no time.
We look forward to continuing our partnership for tourism growth and highlighting McMinnville and Warren County’s local food, art and outdoor experiences.
