Makeover in Morristown.
Tasked with adding updated branding to a newly constructed branch for KTVAECU in Morristown, Tennessee, Designsensory first spent time mapping out the best areas to include design elements inside the Morristown West location—with customer experience in the forefront of our minds.
Partnering with a local, full-service exhibit company, TDS Exhibits, we began crafting a plan for cosmetic renovation. Our team spent hours curating photos and schemes to help showcase the reimagined area. What began as simple marketing updates quickly turned into a full-fledged plan for the interior look and feel.
We explored several different versions of the interior design with the client, arriving at a final plan that united the new brand with the new space and paid tribute to the community. With tools from the initial brand refresh, we created collateral pieces, such as brochures and posters, that the Credit Union could place in new kiosks around the branches.
Final interior elements included brushed aluminum lettering to define branch areas, a custom wallpaper pattern for the member waiting area, office triptychs that highlight a few of the Credit Union’s offerings, an engaging community infographic, an entryway wall mural that highlights the Credit Union’s history, branded wayfinding, several glass decals and a new, blue wall color. Finally, our team partnered with local historians to select images of historic Morristown to display throughout the branch as a way of saying “thank you” to the community KTVAECU has served for more than 80 years.
From Drab to Fab.
After an open-house bash, the KTVAECU team wanted to move forward with updating all the remaining branches for their members to enjoy. Having an integrated system as a base, we captured the essence of the Morristown West branch update and are expanding it across other branches in modular ways, thus far including Alcoa, Halls, Kingsport, Morristown South and South Knoxville branches.
