Similar to Feast with the Beasts, Zoo Knoxville wanted an evening filled with live entertainment, local food and craft beer. They trusted Designsensory with the job.
Our team jumped at the chance to create a new identity for Zoo Knoxville’s newest event—we called it “Brew at the Zoo.” This unique, after-hours celebration took place in September 2018.
We designed and developed a landing page and promoted with a number of posters, banner ads and billboards. We had a little fun with the creative, editing various zoo animals into delicious pints of beer.
General Admission tickets included a 5 oz tasting glass, drinking water and unlimited beer samples—and, of course, we threw in a number of VIP tickets. We wanted to showcase some of Zoo Knoxville’s most favorite exhibits, so Brew at the Zoo offered experiences to appeal to anyone who is wild about craft beer.
The treehouse at Langur Landing and Gibbon Trails featured three floors of select spirits, wine and beer—complete with the best views of the Boyd Family Asian Trek. The “Local Pour” highlighted a single zone where some of Knoxville’s best brewers gathered together. With local DJs, dancers and entertainers, the “Zoo Stages” added a beat to the brew, and finally, the VIP Lounge with Elkmont Exchange turned the whole event up a notch
Our landing page included a map for brew-goers to “scope out” their route, detailing those experiences and identifying the breweries stationed throughout the entire zoo.
Early Bird and VIP Lounge tickets were quickly sold out, making our inaugural Brew at the Zoo a success. We’re grateful for this partnership, and we’ll share another drink with our friends at Zoo Knoxville in the near future.
