We wanted the new platform to more accurately convey the essence of the company’s brand and mission to be “AtWork for You.” As a resource for someone seeking temporary work, a job with flexibility, franchise opportunities and more, the newly redesigned website was a highly-anticipated project for the AtWork Group that called for some in-depth strategic thinking and audience segmentation on our part.
Based on user experience and research findings, the Designsensory team mapped out user flows for key audiences to make sure they could more easily search and apply for a job online and find relevant information quickly. Strategically placed calls to action help each audience group navigate the site in a personalized way.
Because sixty percent of website traffic for AtWork comes through a mobile device, we took a mobile-first approach for optimized viewing and faster search results. Site visitors are also greeted with an immersive homepage video that highlights the journey of employment through a staffing agency, created by our exclusive production partner, PopFizz. Friendly interactive elements ground the company as an easy-to-use resource that can be trusted.
Designsensory also added innovative features and functionalities, such as an individualized location page for each of the AtWork franchisees—a feature that showcases the expansive reach and availability that they provide customers. We provided them with a page template that would allow them to highlight unique jobs and customize the information that might be pertinent to audiences.
