When both the employees and current members of Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union were sharing their excitement about the Credit Union’s products and services, they knew they had something special they wanted to communicate with a larger audience. They wanted a branding partner they could trust—someone who had experience working with other financial institutions. So, when PopFizz, already a reliable partner of the Credit Union, recommended Designsensory for the job, they were excited to share their story with us.
To stand out from the crowded financial market, the Credit Union needed to create a recognizable brand and harmonious experience for both its members and nonmembers. They wanted to refresh their brand to better connect with their members and prospective members, so no matter what platform someone interacts with the Credit Union’s products and services, they recognize and are delighted by them.
Recently, Designsensory became Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union’s Agency of Record (AOR), allowing us to work towards achieving broader goals with this incredible team.
From a revised brand identity to completely new collateral, we’ve worked with the Credit Union to take every aspect of their brand appearance to the next level. Next, we applied the updated look and feel to the interior of several branches, ensuring members and nonmembers could recognize the Credit Union throughout any stage of the customer journey. The goal is to update all of the existing 20 branches.
Next, we developed integrated and personal public relations campaigns to reach a larger target audience, ultimately inviting people to come inside the branches. By advertising on community calendars and within area chambers of commerce, we targeted new outlets and raised awareness for the refreshed brand.
One of the most significant ways to get your brand’s message out is to ensure your message is communicated effectively to your internal team. That’s exactly what the Credit Union did with their culture book. They wanted all team members to exemplify the heart of their organization, so we created a culture campaign and book to present a consistent cultural experience.
Finally, we brought the personality of the Credit Union to life with print ads, billboard, digital and television commercials and more. The commercials are part of an 8-week broadcast media campaign, which we produced alongside PopFizz. Along with other seasonal campaigns we have developed, the themes for these commercials will be integrated into other aspects of their traditional and digital marketing, once again creating a seamless customer experience.
