While Goodwill Industries’ Vintage Fashion Show and Sale happens only once a year, the fun—and the meaningful work Goodwill does—inspires others every day.
For more than a decade, Designsensory has developed an annual integrated campaign to promote the Vintage Fashion Show and Sale. It’s our goal to showcase the services, style and fun of this annual fundraising event to help Goodwill continue its mission. It’s also a great opportunity to try out new design styles and ideas for a good cause.
Beginning with the brand identity and concept, we find new ways to interpret the year’s theme through visual design for tickets, posters, programs, videos and environmental elements at the event.
As is the case with the show, we grounded the campaign with the concept of vintage clothing patterns, overlaid with retro language. We had a great time perusing fashion magazines from the 1960s for inspiration, and the collage for the print collateral featured vintage patterns for clothing with a decidedly modern look.
Proceeds from this event help Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. provide vocational services and job opportunities for people with barriers to employment.
