Avid4Adventure, in Colorado and California, provides day and overnight camp experiences during the summer months to teach kids specific skills and build confidence. They came to us for a new website design after seeing our previous work.
We started with a total audit of the content and user experience in order to build out an information architecture that caters to users who need quick access to information. Immersive imagery is placed not only on landing and secondary pages, but throughout the navigation as well.
We created an intuitive course finder for kids to find the right camp that fits them—the course finder lives within the main hero section and also on corresponding pages to help users find their way. Stylistically, we designed custom icons to help categorize the different camp features within lists. Additionally, we designed and organized interactive maps that live on location pages. Other features include testimonials, quick access to parent login, a pre-camp guide, quick registration and more.
Mobile was a large part of the strategy behind the site, since a large part of visitors access the website via phone. All pages and contributing elements were optimized for a seamless mobile experience.
Overall, the site expresses the fun, excitement and rugged outdoor feel that comes along with the camp experience. Visit the site and find your own call to action!
