The Wild Life Series

Client :Zoo Knoxville

Amidst the pandemic, we needed to find a safe way to continue to educate and interest our guests about the animals living at the zoo.

Insight

Many people weren’t aware of the important conservation work happening behind the scenes at Zoo Knoxville. Sharing interesting stories about the animals and how the keepers care for them showcases that work. On-screen stories can strengthen the viewers’ relationships with the animals and encourage them to visit in person.

Approach

We launched an episodic video series featuring behind-the-scenes heroes who keep Zoo Knoxville inhabitants happy and healthy. Each episode highlights an endangered species living at the Zoo and all that goes into taking care of them.

The entertaining, educational series demonstrates the Zoo’s mission and vision, in a way people can connect to virtually. We kicked off the series with Tiana the Giant Anteater, and explored different endangered species in each episode. This channel allowed us to inform audiences and  establish and build relationships between Zoo Knoxville and its guests, even when they couldn’t physically be there.
