Experience:
Jua recently graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s School of Design. While earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, she completed an internship with Robin Easter followed by another with Designsensory. During her internship with DS, she supported the User Experience (UX) and design teams throughout her Spring Senior semester. Loving how her experience at DS was refining her talents, she decided to join the team full-time after graduating, continuing her path to becoming an extraordinary User Experience (UX)/ User Interface (UI) Designer. As our newest UX Designer, she brought her strengths in typography, layout and branding. A gifted Korean-American graphic designer, Jua nurtures her passion for beautiful things in the arts of sound production, piano, translating, video editing and animal science.
Outside of Work:
To celebrate earning her degree and emergence in the advertising industry, Jua traveled to South Korea to explore, foster creativity, and soak in the stunning landscapes and culture. In her free time, she unwinds listening to soft R&B or (less soft) EDM, and catching up on Game of Thrones. In Knoxville, you can more often than not find Jua at Chaiyos near UT campus, even though she doesn’t live anywhere near it. She’s a cat mom to Lenu & Mei, and recently entered the confusing yet delightful world of crocheting. We can’t wait to see what she creates next!
