Client Growth Associate

Reports to: Sr. Director of Client Growth

Company Overview

Designsensory, founded in 2001, is an integrated marketing agency specializing in beautiful provocation. For over 20 years, we’ve brought fresh thinking and the kind of no-BS collaboration that makes a big difference. No ego, no fluff—just a shared drive to win together. Every piece we create, and every strategy we deliver, is built with a purpose: to ensure our clients are seen, heard and loved. Our work speaks for itself. It’s not just about being noticed; it’s about being unforgettable.

Role Overview

The Client Growth Associate is a highly motivated, early-career sales professional who thrives on the hustle of hunting for new opportunities and building relationships. Reporting to the Sr Director of Client Growth, this role focuses on hands-on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and supporting the broader business development team at Designsensory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Leads: Assist in driving new business by executing daily outreach plans via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Research & Identify Prospects: Research target markets and identify key business decision-makers and prospective clients.
  • Manage Data: Utilize lead generation platforms (like ZoomInfo) and take primary responsibility for keeping the CRM software updated with accurate prospect information and activity logs.
  • Initiate Relationships: Conduct initial outreach and introductory calls to build early-stage relationships with prospects and qualify leads.
  • Collaborate: Seamlessly hand off qualified leads and set up meetings for senior sales staff to close.
  • Track Performance: Monitor daily and weekly sales activities and assist in preparing simple sales and activity reports.
  • Learn & Grow: Attend workshops and training sessions to develop technical knowledge, professional sales skills, and an understanding of Designsensory’s marketing services.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to better speak to prospect needs.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of sales experience, or a strong passion and drive to build a career in professional sales.
  • Basic understanding of marketing, communications, or market research (or a strong willingness to learn).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation platforms (ZoomInfo experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly coachable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a desire to hit and exceed metrics.
  • Fast learner and quick thinker who can adapt in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with new people.
  • Ability to assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings.

Additional Considerations

  • Role Focus: Your primary focus will be opening doors—prospecting, qualifying, and setting meetings. You must be comfortable handing off a warm, qualified lead to a senior closer or the client service team.
  • Team Integration: While you will hand off accounts, we encourage you to join follow-up meetings to learn the closing process and build unified partnerships with our clients.
  • Goal Setting: Daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets (KPIs) will be clearly defined and supported by management.
  • Resources: All necessary selling tools, scripts, and training will be provided to ensure your success.
