About Designsensory

Designsensory is an integrated marketing agency specializing in beautiful provocation. For 25 years, we’ve brought fresh thinking and the kind of no-BS collaboration that makes a big difference. No ego, no fluff — just a shared drive to win together.

Every piece we create, and every strategy we deliver, has one purpose: to make sure our clients are seen, heard, and loved.

We’re not about rehashing what’s already been done. We want to join the conversation as it’s happening and keep thinking about where it’s headed next. Our clients span tourism and destination marketing, hospitality, higher education and athletics, and the public sector

The Role

As our Social Content Creator, you’ll make our clients’ social presence come alive. This role is about forward-thinking production, creative execution, and edits that keep people watching. You’ll own the full process of creating scroll-stopping visual content — especially short-form video — that gets people to pause, engage, and remember.

This role moves fast. You’ll work across multiple client accounts at once, partnering closely with art directors, strategists, and analysts to make sure every post performs and moves the brand forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Content Production: Dream up, shoot, and edit social content (video, photo, and audio) for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Shoot on location at client sites and events, including occasional travel and evening or weekend work.
  • Social Strategy: Contribute to social strategies and content calendars alongside our strategy and creative teams, and schedule and publish content in Sprout Social and other comparable social media management tools.
  • Fluent in Culture: Keep your finger on the pulse of internet culture and trending audio so our clients can jump on the right moments in ways that feel authentic, not forced.
  • Content Optimizations: Optimize content for ever-changing algorithms — formats, lengths, hooks, social SEO, on-screen captions, and engagement.
  • Community Management: Manage community engagement by responding to comments and DMs in each brand’s voice and flag issues or opportunities to the team.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Review performance data with our analysts and use it to refine what you make next.
  • Integrated Marketing: Integrate social into larger campaigns, refining ideas based on audience insights, performance, and platform updates.
  • On-Camera: Appear on camera or lend your voice to Designsensory and client content, as needed.

What You Bring

Required

  • 2-4 years creating social content for brands, professionally or through a strong personal or freelance body of work.
  • A portfolio that shows photography, design, and/or short-form video you produced or shot and edited yourself.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Lightroom, or another comparable photo and video editing platform, plus a mobile editor (CapCut or Instagram Edits).
  • Strong copywriting and the ability to write in several brand voices.
  • Comfort shooting on location and handling camera, audio, and lighting gear.
  • Experience with Sprout Social or a similar social management platform.

Nice to Have

  • Agency experience juggling multiple clients.
  • Familiarity with Figma.
  • Experience in tourism, hospitality, entertainment, higher ed, or public-sector marketing.
  • Comfort being on camera.

Qualifications

  • Tools: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Figma, project management tools (like Asana or Monday.com), social media management platforms (like Sprout Social, Later, or Hootsuite), video editing platforms (like Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve), and individual social media platforms.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of social media management and content creation experience, ideally in a performance marketing or agency environment.
  • Portfolio: A proven track record of campaigns and content that drove measurable results.
  • Platform Knowledge: Deep familiarity with best practices for social media platforms (character limits, content structures and preferences, third-party tools, and policy restrictions).
