Experience:
Jacqueline recently graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in studio art and a passion for creating stunning visuals. While earning her degree, she collaborated with designers at the Haslam College of Business, creating animations and print materials including flyers, cards and posters. She also partnered with UT to develop an ethical and historically accurate game about the civil rights movement that teachers use to educate their students as part of the curriculum.
Eager to develop designs that make the world a brighter and more efficient place, she interned at Designsensory during her final semester, developing her craft. After graduating, Jacqueline was inspired by the talented mentors she worked with and accepted a full-time position as a graphic designer. The Knoxville-native aims to evolve her design, communication and creative skills in her time here, and is motivated to contribute to projects that serve her community, in the process. She often sketches different styles by hand before digitally creating them and enjoys participating in local events like the Maker City Summit and Chalk Walk to meet fellow local artists.
Outside of Work:
Jacqueline expresses herself through illustration and printmaking. Her favorite outings include strolls through the farmers’ market and local galleries where she can support local creatives and businesses while soaking in inspiration. Born in Montreal, Canada, she has dual citizenship and recently ventured to Korea for a post-grad semester abroad where she experienced extraordinary hikes, views, food and lots of karaoke. In Knoxville, her favorite hobbies are reading, jogging, watching movies and baking sourdough bread.
