Client :Regal

Regal needed help promoting new movies and increasing visits and ticket sales. They asked us to help generate excitement for the theater experience to encourage cinephiles to return to Regal theaters after pandemic-related shutdowns.

Insight

People watch movies to experience connection, identify with characters, and participate in on-screen relationships. The theater is a vehicle designed to amplify and support movie-goers’ escape into the film setting.

Approach

We created a new space for our target audience to build and establish personal connections with the actors and characters through interviews. Developing this series allowed actors to share exclusive, behind-the-scenes stories about the making of new movies, their perspectives on the characters they play, and never-before shared moments from the set.

The fun, insightful clips were released across multiple platforms, generating high reach and increasing awareness for the upcoming films. Viewers gained a unique opportunity to engage with the movies and establish a connection with the stars through individual, intimate conversations with cast members. These clips built relationships between the film-loving community and the talented actors.

Regal junkets helped engage viewers and pique interest in upcoming films. The campaign compelled audiences to experience the movies in the most immersive way possible, in theaters among fellow fans.
