Surrounding the launch of discovery+ streaming, Discovery, Inc. wanted to give their loyal audiences more content to connect with the brands they love on a deeper level. Food Network asked us to develop and produce their first-ever podcast, diving deeper than ever before with food influencers, chefs and Food Network talent.

Insight

The Food Network fanbase has a shared dedication and interest in all things food and appreciation for the fun, lighthearted way the network explores the medium. Maintaining the familiar personality and faces of Food Network, while introducing more in-depth content, interviews and insights was key to acquiring fans from the existing television network and bringing in new audiences.

Approach

In an effort to bring dedicated linear viewers to a new platform, we collaborated closely with the network producers to give our audience more of what they love in an engaging audio format. Together, we crafted the perfect recipe for a new hit podcast: food influencers and top chefs, behind-the-scenes stories and a pinch of career learnings. Robust research and episode development went into curating each podcast, packed with rapid fire question rounds and exclusive mouthwatering recipe reveals.

Food blogger and TV host, Jaymee Sire, sits down with award-winning chefs, viral food influencers and Food Network’s top talent to dish on all things delicious in the culinary world. The snackable content covers everything from the stars’ first and worst jobs in the food industry to kitchen fails and culinary masterpieces, giving foodies and network fans alike something they’ll enjoy.
