As part of our partnership with University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC) and work on its public website, we created an intranet, Insite, to help medical center employees communicate more efficiently.
Insite, currently undergoing a redesign, is more than an email platform. Insite provides remote access to clinical systems, eLearning through the Talent Management System and CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) training videos.
Emergency and disaster information delivered in real time through blogs and other tools keep responders updated. Other features include a centralized area for retrieving hospital policies and procedure files, an employee directory and a blog with management updates.
The system even allows employees to make contributions to Do the Remarkable fundraising campaign and to send eCards.
The Insite system is one more way that we’re working with UTMC to help bring cutting-edge medical care to the community.
