For BASI Pilates, launching the new website elevates their communications to the same first-tier level of their classes, instructors, education and overall training.

BASI stands for Body Arts and Science international and was established in 1989 by world-renowned Pilates educator, Rael Isacowitz. BASI Pilates preserves the legacy of Joseph and Clara Pilates, while complementing their method with contemporary scientific knowledge.

Though a BASI education is anchored in anatomy, physiology and scientific principles, its emphasis is on the aesthetic quality of every movement.

Designsensory paralleled that approach for the development of this website. Cutting-edge, back-end components are the foundation to support a creatively rich, compellingly designed and functional user interface. Back-end programming tools, such as an integrated content management system, allow for easy site updates. Fluid movement of exercise is captured in homepage design with watercolor elements, which also build on dynamics of the newly updated BASI Pilates logo.

Unlike other, all-in-one Pilates enterprises, the sole purpose of BASI Pilates is to educate Pilates instructors, maintain and advance that education on the discipline for the duration of their careers.
