BASI Pilates' 25th Anniversary Identity
To help mark the yearlong celebration of BASI Pilates’ 25th anniversary, Designsensory created a unique identity for the brand and for key upcoming events. The current BASI identity incorporates line art depicting a human form, a design that will be updated to showcase an anthropomorphized number 25 for the anniversary. The anniversary date is also incorporated into separate sub-identities for the brand’s 2013 summit.
Established by the world-renowned Pilates educator Rael Isacowitz, BASI Pilates preserves the legacy of Joseph and Clara Pilates, while complementing their method with contemporary scientific knowledge.
BASI stands for Body Arts and Science International, the name of the academy’s holding company and an affirmation of its approach to Pilates studies. Though a BASI education is anchored in anatomy, physiology and scientific principles, its emphasis is on the aesthetic quality of every movement.
