"There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly." — R. Buckminster Fuller

Avatar Erik Vass, Graphic Designer

Erik balances problem solving and visual communication through all modes of design.

Starting with a sketch, Erik loves to build his ideas and bring them to fruition through any means possible. He has a passion for web and interaction design, but also loves the inherently tangible design of print. More than that, Erik loves to be hands-on and experimental with his designs.

Erik graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee in May of 2017 with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. He has participated in many collaborative efforts, designing and coding applications to further the learning experience for nursing students, designing news ways of instructing french language and entry-level college students, and traveling to Norway to work with the National Gallery in promoting families experiences within the museum.

Outside of design, Erik spends his time tending the land at a local vineyard, reading horror classics, listening to 60’s garage-punk jams and enjoying a nice cold one while goofing off with friends.
